  • A small group of 2–4 people with similar goals

  • Coaching from a Functional Aging Specialist who adjusts every session

  • A more affordable option than 1:1 personal training

  • Every session focuses on strength, balance, mobility, and confidence — so you can keep doing the things you love in daily life.

  • Feel a little nervous or “out of place” in big gyms or busy classes

  • Have some joint pain, arthritis, or a history of falls

  • Are post-PT and want to keep your progress going safely

  • Want more accountability than working out alone

  • Prefer a calm, judgment-free environment with coaching that adapts to you

  • Groups are capped at 2–4 people per session.

  • You are assigned to a consistent time slot so you can build routine and relationships.

  • Every exercise can be modified based on your joints, balance, and energy that day.

  • Feel less stiff, move with ease, and support your back with guided, gentle mobility and core work. Perfect for anyone recovering from injury or wanting to move better.

Currently offering 6 semi-private time options each week.

  • Monday — 8:00 am & 11:30 am

  • Tuesday — 11:15 am

  • Wednesday — 8:00 am 

  • Thursday — 11:15 am

  • Friday — 8:00 am

What a Typical Session Looks Like

Each 30-minute session may include:

  • A gentle warm-up to wake up joints and muscles

  • Strength work for legs, hips, core, and upper body

  • Balance and reaction drills to help prevent falls

  • Mobility and flexibility for stiff areas (like hips, ankles, shoulders)

  • Real-life practice, such as sit-to-stands, step-ups, reaching, or floor work

You’ll always know why you’re doing something — and how it connects to everyday life.

What You Can Expect Over 8–12 Weeks

Most clients notice:

  • Feeling steadier on stairs or curbs

  • Better balance when standing, turning, or reaching

  • More confidence getting up from chairs or the floor

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people are in each group?

Semi-private groups are limited to 2–4 people. This lets me keep a close eye on form, breathing, pain, and safety while still giving you the encouragement of a small group.

What if I have joint replacements, arthritis, or a history of falls?

That’s exactly who I work with. I’m a Functional Aging Specialist and former COTA — I modify everything based on your joints, balance, and medical history. You will never be asked to “push through” pain.

Do I need to be in shape before I start?

No. We start where you are. Sessions are scaled to your current level, and we build gradually so your body and confidence can keep up.

What if I miss a session?

Because groups are small, your time slot is reserved just for you. Sessions do not roll over, but if a spot is open in another group that week, I’ll do my best to get you into a make-up session.

Can I switch from 1:1 training to semi-private?

Yes. Many clients start with one-on-one, then move into semi-private once they feel more confident. We can adjust your plan at your next renewal.
