Competition Event List & Descriptions

                               

  • Wall Sit:  For time

    • Stand with your back against the wall.  Lower until knees and hips are at 90 degrees.

    • Time starts when proper form is taken.  Time stops when form is broken. 

 

  • Free Throws: Single attempt for max shots completed

    • Women and men use appropriate regulation basketball.  Stand at the free throw line.  Must make a basket for it to count.

 

  • Plank: For time

    • Assumes the prone plank position with only toes and elbow touching the floor and body in completely straight position.  Time starts when proper form is taken.  Time stops when form is broken. 

 

  • “Old Man Challenge”: For time

    • Start with sock and shoe off- on ground in front of you.

    • Stand on one foot.

    • Pick up your sock and put it on.

    • Pick up shoe and put it on.

    • Set completed foot down, pick up other foot.

    • Stand on one foot.

    • Pick up your sock and put it on. Pick up shoe and put it on.
       

  • Ball Slams: Max Reps in 1 min

    • Women 10# ball

    • Men 15# ball

    • 1 minute total # completed

    • RULES: Stand upright, entire ball comes overhead, body upright before slam.

 

  • Yoke- Sled : Quickest time for 10 meters

    • Women 50-69: 25# plates on all 4 posts

    • Women 70+: 25# plates on back 2 posts

    • Men 50-69: 45# plates on all 4 posts

    • Men 70+: 45# plates on back 2 posts

  •  Farmers Carry: For time

    • Women 55-59 25#

    • Women 60-69 20#

    • Women 70-79 8kg

    • Women 80+ 10#

    • Men 55-59 30#

    • Men 60-69 25#

    • Men 70- 79 20#

    • Men 80+ 8kg

    • Walk mapped out course as quickly as possible with above weights.

 

  • Box Squat: Max reps in 1 minute

    • Women 55-59 40#

    • Women 60-69 35#

    • Women 70-79 25#

    • Women 80+ 8kg

    • Men 55-59 50#

    • Men 60-69 40#

    • Men 70- 79 35#

    • Men 80+ 25#

    • Squat down, buttocks touch box with knees breaking 90 degrees

 

  • Standing Press: Max reps in 1 minute

    • Women 55-59 +25’s# 

    • Women 60-69 +10’s#

    • Women 70-79 +5’s#

    • Women 80+ 0#

    • Men 55-59 +45’s#

    • Men 60-69 +35’s#

    • Men 70- 79 +25’s#

    • Men 80+ +10’s #

    • Weight on each side

 

  • Concept 2 Skier: For Time

    • Ski 250 meters at level 10 for fastest time

 

Points awarded as follows:                      Awards:

          1st place: 15 points                         1st place overall takes half the entry fee cash

          2nd place: 10 points                        1st, 2nd & 3rd place- Medal in each event

          3rd place: 5 points
